Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting statutory audits in accordance with applicable auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
- Reviewing financial statements and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Performing substantive testing and analytical procedures to assess the accuracy and completeness of financial information.
- Identifying and communicating audit findings to clients, along with practical recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborating effectively with team members to ensure the timely completion of audit engagements.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their businesses and industries to provide tailored audit services.
- Keeping abreast of changes in auditing standards, regulations, and industry trends to enhance audit quality and effectiveness.
For CA:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent certification.
- Previous experience in statutory audit engagements, preferably within a reputable audit firm.
- In-depth knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead audit engagements and manage client relationships.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality audit services and adding value to clients.
