Background: Portfolio management group (PMG) has been formed, as a part of Wholesale Banking Group (WBG), with the perspective to assist in management & analysis of WBG portfolio based on desired matrix of risk and returns.
Key deliverables:
- Research & Analysis:
Analyse corporate portfolio of wholesale banking clients and generate reports/prepare presentations in the desired formats based on
a) Industry Research
b) Sectoral Outlook
c) Market Research
d) Global & domestic economic movement and their key drivers - New-to-Bank Opportunity Scoping:
Identify untapped market/client base and present strategic lending opportunities based on analysis of
a) Govt. policies and schemes (e.g. PLI, FAME I & II)
b) Market led opportunities (e.g. Export-led NCA)
c) Sunrise sectors (e.g: Data Center, Drone Industry etc.)
d) Impact of changes in regulatory guidelines etc. - Tracking/Monitoring key activities:
a) Q-o-Q & Y-o-Y financial performance analysis of listed companies
b) Wholesale Banking portfolio review
c) Credit rating movement analysis of portfolio companies
Key skills:
· Understanding and analysis of financial statements including ratio analysis, valuation analysis and capability to prepare projected financials validating underlying assumptions
· Knowledge of banking products and RBI guidelines
· Excellent knowledge of MS – Excel, Powerpoint presentations etc.
Qualification & Experience:
· CA / MBA with 0-2 years of relevant experience
